If you see the “Not connected” label under the Thunderbolt Bridge setting, do the following:

  2. On each Mac, open System Preferences and search for “Thunderbolt”.
  3. Select Network -> Configure Thunderbolt networking
  4. Once “New Interface Detected” shows up click OK and apply.
  5. Select Thunderbolt Bridge from the left side and click Apply.
  6. Do the same on the second Mac.
