Very Good

The UD-768PDZ is easiest to recommend when monitor count matters more than pixel count. Plugable's official page, Amazon listing, and third-party reviews all point to the same profile: three 1080p HDMI displays, 100W host charging, useful desk ports, and a Silicon Motion driver path that can add extra screens to M1, M2, M3, and M4 Macs. Techaeris tested it with three 1080p monitors and found the displays and peripheral ports worked as expected, while G Style Magazine liked the way it solved a MacBook Air M1 multi-monitor problem. The compromises are not small. Silicon Motion is software graphics, so gaming, full-screen video playback, HDCP protected streaming, video editing, color calibration, and blue-light features are all limited compared with native GPU outputs. The dock also appears discontinued on Plugable's own store, even though the Amazon listing still exposes ASIN B0BSJCWFMQ. At the right price, it is a sensible triple-screen productivity dock for 1080p office monitors. If you own 1440p or 4K displays, the Plugable UD-6950PDZ or UD-ULTC4K is a better long-term choice.
